PNC Visa Business Credit Card Review 2024 – Forbes Advisor – Technologist
For business owners looking to transfer their debt to a card with a low rate, the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card* could be a decent option. But otherwise, it’s a bare-bones card with few other benefits.
If you’re a small business owner looking for another credit card, consider these alternatives:
PNC Visa® Business Credit Card* vs. Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card
If you generally pay off your statement balance in full every month, the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card may be a better fit than the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card*. It has $0 annual fee, and cardmembers can earn 1.5% cash back rewards on every business purchase.
Additionally, it offers a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases, then a 18.49% – 24.49% variable APR applies for purchases and balance transfers. A balance transfer fee of either $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater, applies. However, it doesn’t have an introductory APR offer for balance transfers, so it’s not a good choice if you want to transfer and pay off existing debt.
PNC Visa® Business Credit Card* vs. U.S. Bank Business Platinum Card*
Like the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card*, the U.S. Bank Business Platinum Card* has $0 annual fee. It gives new cardmembers 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases, then a 18.49% – 24.49% variable APR applies for purchases and balance transfers. A balance transfer fee of either $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater, applies, but there is a shorter window to complete balance transfers than the PNC Visa Business card: The introductory APR only applies to balance transfers completed within 30 days from account opening.
PNC Visa® Business Credit Card* vs. Capital One Spark 1.5% Cash Select for Good Credit*
While the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card* gives you a balance transfer offer, it doesn’t provide an introductory APR offer for purchases. If you have major purchases coming up, such as new equipment for your business or inventory orders, the Capital One Spark 1.5% Cash Select for Good Credit* may be a useful alternative. It has $0 annual fee, and it gives new cardmembers 0% intro APR on purchases for the first 12 months of account opening, followed by a regular APR of 21.24%, 26.24% or 29.24% variable on purchases and balance transfers.
The Capital One Spark 1.5% Cash Select for Good Credit* doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees, and cardmembers can earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase and unlimited 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.
