Chelsea Crawford honored as one of 13 Baltimore Banner Emerging Leaders for 2024. – Technologist
Brown, Goldstein & Levy is proud to announce that The Baltimore Banner has selected partner Chelsea Crawford as one of just 13 honorees for its 2024 class of Emerging Leaders. The Emerging Leaders program shines a light on the next generation of community leaders under 40 in Baltimore and the significant impact they have made across the city. Honorees were nominated by their colleagues and communities and chosen by a selection committee comprising of Baltimore Banner reporters and editors, along with area business and community leaders. The selection committee determined that Chelsea and her fellow nominees are rising leaders driving change in Baltimore and across Maryland with a deep and personal commitment to the communities they serve.
Chelsea’s fellow honorees include Derrick Whiting, healing city coordinator for the Baltimore City Health Department; Tonaeya Moore, director of policy for the CASH Campaign of Maryland; and Tyde-Courtney Edwards, founding director of Ballet After Dark. View a full list of honorees here.
The Baltimore Banner will recognize all 13 Emerging Leaders at an awards reception on May 15 at The Center Club.
Chelsea is no stranger to being recognized for her significant accomplishments. In September 2023, she was appointed to the Baltimore City Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission by Governor Wes Moore, and she was appointed alongside a prestigious group of Maryland lawyers and businesspeople to Attorney General Anthony Brown’s Transition Team. Chelsea has been recognized multiple times by Lawdragon for her work, including on the “500 Leading Litigators in America” list for 2024, the “500 X – The Next Generation” list for 2023, and the “500 Leading Plaintiff Employment and Civil Rights Lawyers” list for 2022 and 2023. Best Lawyers lists her as “One to Watch” in the Civil Rights Law, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense (General Practice), Labor and Employment Law (Employee), Litigation (Labor and Employment), and Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiffs) categories. She has also been selected a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2018.
