On September 6, Brown, Goldstein & Levy attorneys Jamie Strawbridge and Michael Abrams led an impactful panel discussion entitled, “Policing & People with Disabilities: From First Encounter to Litigation,” at the Federal Bar Association’s Annual Meeting and Convention. The annual convention was held in Kansas City, MO from September 5-7.
Jamie and Michael, recognized for their expertise and dedication to civil rights advocacy, led a dynamic discussion that delved into the intersection of law enforcement and the rights of individuals with disabilities. Their presentation was part of the convention’s broader mission to explore critical legal issues and foster dialogue among leading attorneys across the country.
Jamie and Michael were joined by colleagues Bill Goren and Aisha Novasky as members of the Civil Rights Law Section, in partnership with the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. The session audience included attorneys, advocates, and legal professionals all committed to advancing civil rights and inclusion.
